Understanding everything about getting spots in our daycares in 3 minutes
The daycares in Les Petits Chaperons Rouges network are private. Prices are identical in public or private daycares, but private daycares are partly financed by employers.
Once you have found your crèche and completed your contact details, Les Petits Chaperons Rouges will help you find the childcare solution that suits your situation best.
When to enroll your child in daycare?
Obtaining a spot in daycare is a process that can sometimes be long. Parents or future parents are therefore advised to start researching for their child very early. It is customary to start from pregnancy, during maternity leave. In a private nursery on the other hand, depending on availability, it can be very quick!
If your situation is urgent, contact private nursery networks such as Les Petits Chaperons Rouges. Available places can be allocated to you very quickly.
What supporting documents must be provided for registration in a daycare?
During your pre-registration request, Les Petits Chaperons Rouges Family Service may ask you the following supporting documents:
- The last household tax notice
- The family record book
- The last two pay slips of the two representatives of the child
- Your child’s vaccinations
- The possible “RQTH” document (“Reconnaissance de la Qualité de Travailleur Handicapé” meaning the recognition of the status of disabled worker)
- Any other document that you deem useful (certificate of divorce, death, etc.).
You can prepare them in advance to have them on hand! This list is not exhaustive and is subject to change.
How much does a spot in daycare cost?
We are well aware that the cost of childcare is one of the major concerns of parents. And it’s not always easy to understand the system! To support you, we summarize CAF (Family Allowance Funds) aid, tax credits and tax deductions and we help you plan prices.
